This week, we teamed up with Mr Stevens and his Forest School group. We looked at a tribe who live in Indonesia. They build their huts above ground level to protect them from floods and dangerous animals. We then went outside and tried to build our own versions. We got very muddy, but we had a lot of fun!
“ Today in we made quiches. We got to roll the pastry and add cheese, ham and egg. “I’m looking forward to eating the quiche” Ella “It was fun and I can’t wait till our next cooking session in skills academy” Crystal
On Friday, the Photography Skills Academy Club spent the afternoon at Coombe Park. Despite the wind, rain and mud, they took some amazing wildlife photos The wildlife photos will follow in the next Photography Club blog.
Forest school and Caring Skills Academy Clubs joined together to make some bird feeders. We all decided that the birds needed someone to care for them too! The children loved making them and took them home to put out for the hungry birds.
