Silent Debate

Some of our class went to the Learning Hub and took part in a silent debate. On each table was a statement and we had to write our opinions about what it said on the whiteboard tables. One table was linked to our current topic and said ‘It’s not the strongest or wisest animals which survive but the animals which can adapt to their environment’ and the other was linked to the Royal family and their impact on our country. We were not allowed to talk to each other but could respond to each others opinions by linking our response with a line. We enjoyed this because it was interesting to see our friend’s opinions and whether they agreed or disagreed with each other. The fact that we weren’t allowed to talk was challenging to start but then we quickly got used to it. ‘We adapted to our environment’ Ellen, Year 6. We hope we can do it again soon!
