In 3EB we have been using the whiteboard tables in the learning hub to plan our recount about the day when the falconry people visited Y3. It was fun to work with a group, share ideas and have the space to set our ideas out on the whiteboard tables. We liked meeting the ferrets best! By Reet and Holly.
In Year 3 we have been learning how to play the ukulele in our music lessons with Gareth every Monday morning. Mr Taylor used some of the money raised at the Christmas family evening to buy Ukuleles that we can use in class.
In year 3 we have been making smoothies. This is part of our topic scrumdiddlyumptious. The different smoothies we had to choose from were Fruit Delight, Berry Good, Summer Sunshine and Blueberry Bonanza. In class we tried tasting four different smoothies. Year 3’s favourite smoothie was Summer Sunshine. We made a poster for people to like the look and try
Last week we met an MP, which stands for Member of Parliament. His name was Mr Cunningham. He told us lots of fascinating things about his life. We had lots of interesting questions to ask him like, ‘How much do you get paid?’ and he told us the answer! We got a photograph with Mr Cunningham, alongside the school council.
So far we have decorated a rich tea biscuit to look like a spider and tried 4 different types of chocolate! We rated the chocolate. We also in geography labelled places that grow chocolate!
